I honestly think that Jónsi's music video for Go Do is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen, and I wanted to pay tribute to it (and him, of course). I would highly suggest checking it out.

This was probably one of my most challenging pieces because I have almost no experience with water colors. I'm also usually not one for subtlety when it comes to color, so I had to exercise a lot of patience when it came to diluting and blending to achieve the effect I wanted. I used a self-taken screenshot for reference. The white specks are from the scanner (sorry), but uh...just pretend that they're stars or something. Yeah.

And on a completely unrelated note, in case you didn't know, Jónsi also made Sticks & Stones (the first credits song in the movie How to Train Your Dragon). I would recommend checking Sticks & Stones out (and HTTYD, if you've never seen it). They're both super-uplifting!
